AI Uplift for Law Firms

Your firm is already paying for AI. This program builds the capability to get the productivity out of it, across every team that touches a matter. The five stages are the same for every client. The training that comes out of them is written for your practice alone.

About Konvey

Who we are

Konvey is a specialist practice working with law firms on the human side of technology. Our concern is how the platforms you already licence are actually used inside your business, who holds responsibility for that, and whether the firm can account for any of it when a client asks.

Every person on your engagement is Australian and works here. That matters for the questions this work raises: where your client data travels, which obligations attach to your practice, and what your privacy and professional duties permit. We answer those under the same law you do.

We are not a software vendor and we do not manage or change your systems. We work alongside whoever looks after your technology. What we bring is senior attention to the part that tends to sit with nobody: your people, their judgement, and how they work.

What makes this different

Nothing we deliver is off the shelf

There is no standard curriculum behind this program. Every hour of it is written from what the investigation finds inside your practice.

The five stages

Five stages, one decision at a time

Each stage produces something concrete, and nothing is proposed before we have the evidence to support it.

Stage one

Firm fit

Before anything else we establish whether we are the right practice for your firm, and whether the work is right for us. We look at how your practice is structured, who holds the decisions, and what your leadership wants from AI over the coming year.

The conversation runs in both directions. If we are not the right practice for the work we will say so, and we will tell you what we would do in your position.

Stage twoThe first commitment

The investigation

This is where the work begins, and the only stage you need to consider now. We examine five elements of your practice. Everything we recommend afterwards is built on what we find here.

Understand the business

Your organisational chart, your areas of practice, how your teams are structured and how they operate day to day.

Measured from the start

Your AI Confidence Index

The staff survey produces a single baseline figure for the firm, covering how capable and how confident your people feel about using AI in their work. We run the same survey after training, so the change is measured rather than asserted.

STAGE TWOBaseline takenSTAGE FIVERe-measuredthe program runs

Let us know if you would like a proposal for the investigation. It sets out the scope, the timing and the fee, and asking for it commits you to nothing.

Stage three

Your report and the way forward

We produce a report evaluating where your firm stands today across the five areas that determine the return your firm sees from AI.

One

Productivity

Two

Capability

Three

Leadership

Four

Confidence

Five

Compliance

Within the report we identify the areas where uplift would make the greatest difference to your business, and we set out how we would approach each of them.

We then propose a way forward: training written from those findings, delivered to groups of 10 over a single day.

The report is yours

Whether you proceed to training is entirely your decision. No obligation attaches to it.

Stage four

The training

If you proceed, delivery is ours. We organise the scheduling, the cohorts, the materials and the facilitation. The content is drawn from your matter types, your systems and your language, which is why it cannot be lifted from another engagement.

At the close we provide a report to your management covering what was delivered, how each group responded, and where the firm stands at the end of it.

Stage five

Three months on

Three months after training we run the staff survey again and compare the result against the baseline taken at the start. Your partners see the change as a figure rather than an impression, and the training is recent enough to act on if a particular team has not moved.

Your people also keep access to the Konvey premium suite: our online training library, prompt collections and templates, maintained and updated as the tools change.

Who you'll meet

Your core team

You will work with the same three people throughout, from the first conversation to the three month review.

Julia

Julia

Lead investigator

Julia leads the investigation and is the author of the report presented to your leadership. Her background is in research, data analysis and business strategy.

Vince

Vince

Facilitator

Vince designs the workshop program and manages its delivery. His background is in systems and integration, and his focus is the application of AI within workflows that already work.

Markus

Markus

Technical advisor

Markus advises on infrastructure and architecture. He establishes what your systems and your provider permit before any training is designed.

The next step

Ask us for the proposal

Say the word and we will prepare it for your firm. If you would rather talk it through first, that is just as easily arranged.
